I have a love for all things beautiful in life. People, places, food, music, dance…..pretty much everything. I am married to the most amazing and beautiful person, Dylan. He just so happens to be my business partner as well. We have a happy life with our quirky little family on an acre and a quarter of land in Cheektowaga, NY. Creativity is a huge part of my life. Besides being a photographer and designer, I am an avid dancer; dance helps release energy and helps bring out another creative part of my being.
As Onion Studio’s creative director, my creative passion is boundless. Growing up in Western New York, I was inspired by my artistic family and teachers. There was also an unconscious attraction to photography; my recollection of “borrowing” my dad’s cameras, and setting up Barbie doll photo shoots seems to be the precursor for my eventual connection to the passionate expression of my strong suit: design and photography.
Early on, as lead designer at a Lockport-based print and design firm, I expanded my experience, directing projects, and leading on all project elements, from concept to production to delivery.
Joining my husband Dylan at Onion Studio (2008), I added photography to my skill-set, and soon became a lead photographer. As our demand for design has grown I have taken on the role of creative director—overseeing staff designers. I’m also a principal photographer, both for Onion projects, and in my own business, Bubbles & Berries Boudoir.
My ability to talk with clients about design details supports the collaborative environment—which Dylan and I foster. For me, the process is incredible…and the end result is what drives me.
